9. What is the enclosure material on the Single & Four Channel controllers?
The Single Channel and Four Channel controller enclosures are manufactured from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) resin.
ABS is an attractive, yet rugged copolymer that affords great protection to the internal electronics.
ABS has been chosen as the most appropriate material because it can withstand most harsh industrial, chemical and marine environments and does not exhibit the effects of corrosion that can attack most metallic materials.
